1. Injector Nozzle Wear

The 3TNV88 uses three individual injectors with pintle-type nozzles. 3TNV88 vs 3TNV84: Don't Confuse Them

A common sourcing mistake in Malaysia: ordering parts for the 3TNV84 (bore 84mm) when the machine actually has a 3TNV88 (bore 88mm). The engines look nearly identical externally but have different:

  • Piston and liner dimensions
  • Injector nozzle specifications
  • Gasket set dimensions
